This 28-Minute Total Body Interval Workout covers it all from lower body, upper body, abs, and cardio, to get you shredded from head to toe!
If you’ve been reading my blog for even about five minutes, you probably know that I’m a big Jillian Michaels fan. In fact, her BodyShred program was the first DVD challenge program I’ve ever completed from start to finish. I have many, many of her other DVDs and I follow her on just about every social media channel. I never watched a single episode of Biggest Loser, but my mom became obsessed with her around 10-ish years ago, and by default, so did I.
Jillian loves to combine strength, cardio, and core into a single workout to fit her “shred” method (30-Day Shred, BodyShred, etc.) and I love that format. The exercises featured in the shred-style workouts are usually compound to hit multiple muscle groups, giving you more bang for your buck!

I deem Jillian, and her shred-style, the inspiration for this workout (and a few more I’ve done on a whim). I love workouts like these because they’re completely customizable from the exercises included, to the total time of the workout. Even though today’s workout is under half an hour, it will surely get your sweat going! I hope you enjoy it!
28-Minute Total Body Interval Workout
-Timer
-Dumbbells
-Box or Step
-Mat (optional)
-Warm up first
-Cool down afterward
-Complete each exercise for one minute
-Transition quickly between exercises
-Rest one minute between circuits
-Repeat entire workout, completing both circuits twice
One of the best parts of this workout (in my opinion), is that you are T-Totally finished with it in about 30 minutes! You can work all of your major muscles inside an hour and then get on with your day. Easy peasy!
