No time to workout this holiday season? These fast and efficient workouts will carry you from Thanksgiving to Christmas and beyond!
It’s hard to believe we’re already staring into the face of the second week of November! Very soon, the holiday season will be in full swing. This time of year, many people let their health and fitness goals fall a bit to the wayside. That’s easy to do with all the hustle and bustle and busyness we face. However, it doesn’t have to be that way! It’s more than possible to get in an effective workout under a time crunch.
10 Fast & Efficient Workouts
When it comes to working out, I’m all about maximizing my time. I want to get in, get it done, and get out in as little time as possible. I also want to ensure my time spent working out is efficient and effective and probably hitting as many muscle groups as possible. HIIT and AMRAP workouts with compound movements are the perfect way for me to get that done. If you’re needing some fast, efficient workouts this holiday season, check out this round-up!
Lower Body
This Lower Body AMRAP Workout is sure to get you sweating and your heart pumping. With only 30 minutes and lot of grit, you can accomplish so much!
Upper Body
This Upper Body AMRAP Workout will only cost you 20 minutes and your excuses. You may or may not have a bit of trouble blow drying your hair the next day as well. 😉
If you want to switch it up a bit, this Upper Body HIIT Workout mixes in 60-second sprints between rounds of upper body work.

Total Body
If you really want to maximize your time and be as fast and efficient as possible, include total body workouts in your routine. Compound movements that work multiple muscle groups will give you the most bang for your buck, while cardio bursts will up the ante on your calorie burn. Still think you have no time to workout? This Quick Cardio Burnout will prove you wrong, though I usually like to reserve for the end of a completed workout. If unavailable equipment has become a crutch for you, throw that to the side with this total body Interval Workout. Seriously, you don’t even need pants–much less a set of dumbbells!
Staying on top of your goals during the holidays doesn’t have to be difficult or take up a lot of time. With a little bit of motivation, a timer, and maybe a set of dumbbells or two, you can get a jump on your 2018 goals. Or at least enjoy an extra piece of pie at Thanksgiving. 😉
