Another week has come and gone! Check out my week in workouts and life through last week’s workouts!
Happy Sunday! I hope you guys had a wonderful week. I finished up my last few days on duty for 2017 and will now be trying to get caught up on all the Christmas shopping I’ve been avoiding! I really let it sneak up on me this year… Whoops! Anyway, let’s recap the week past!
Sunday, 12/10/17:
Sunday was yoga day! I did a 30-minute stretch using the Studio Tone It Up app. Truthfully, I was kind of bored and not in the right headspace for yoga, but it was still a good stretch. If you’re interested in Studio Tone It Up, you can check out my review here!
Monday, 12/11/17:
I slept horribly Sunday night, but my eyes flew open as soon as my alarm went off, so up and at em it was! I quickly guzzled some Spark and got to work. I did a Tabata style workout for shoulders and chest followed by an intense tricep burn out.

Tuesday, 12/12/17:
Tuesday was “pull day” and featured preacher curls. Darn, I hate those things, though the workout left me with a good bicep pump. I followed it up with a short HIIT for some extra calorie burn.
Wednesday, 12/13/17:
Legs and booty for HUMP DAY!
Thursday, 12/14/17:
Rest day! And thankfully so as I woke up with a sore throat and the beginnings of a three day cold.

Friday, 12/15/17:
I woke up at my regular time and fit in a chest and shoulders workout. It was a traditional weight lifting workout, so didn’t lend itself to a very elevated heart rate/high calorie burn. That was fine since I was still battling chest congestion. School let out at noon and by 1:30 I was laid up on the couch watching Law & Order reruns and slipping in and out of sleep.
Saturday, 12/16/17:
For the last couple of weeks, Saturday has been my run day, but with my mom coming to town to finish Christmas shopping, there wasn’t going to be time. I just did a super quick cardio and abs workout before getting ready to hang out with her for the day.
If you missed anything on the blog last week, you can get caught up now! Monday, I shared a Gift Guide for Homebodies with items all available at Target! Wednesday, I shared my wish list, I mean a Fitness Lover’s Gift Guide 🙂 and some Friday Favorites later in the week.

Yay for holiday break! I hope that you have the best time away from school. I’m totally jelly that my job isn’t that cool lol. Great job with your workouts this week! I totally slacked off and went in to hibernation mode.
On the upside, I did end up joining that nutrition course for January so I’ll see you there!

Holiday breaks are the best! Sorry about your sore throat but I hope that you start to feel better soon.

All running last week for me. I’m inspired by all your strength training. Hoping to get some of that in during my week off this week.

I’ve also been avoiding Christmas shopping. But with only a few days left, I’ll have to now get in gear. I hope you enjoy your holiday break! Thanks for linking!

‘Tis the cold season! We’re just getting over a bout of the cold in my house. Glad you were able to rest up a little!
I’m just easing into run/walk intervals since the birth of my son and doing yoga on off days. It’s going well! Merry Christmas to you!
