Happy Monday! I’m playing a little bit of catch up today as we just returned from a quick family vacation yesterday evening. I’m spending the day doing laundry, working on my business, and cuddling my Pippa! I’m also recapping my activity from last week! Even though I was away and enjoying a little more R&R than usual, I still got my workouts in so I could crush my goals {and eat more food, tbh}.
Sunday, 7/1/18:
Rest day. Sunday morning, I attended a bridal shower in Houston for my sweet cousin and then climbed in the car to make the 8 hour drive back to West Texas. I pulled into the garage just after 9:30 and climbed into bed almost immediately.

Monday, 7/2/18:
Still exhausted from the busy weekend, I chose to stretch out with a PiYo workout I hadn’t done in a long time. I have really slacked on yoga and mobility in the last few months and know I need to get back at it. I’m saying it here–I’m making mobility a regular priority again.
Tuesday, 7/3/18:
Tuesday I headed out the door for a quick run with Pippa tagging along! She and I have both missed our runs together and we’re looking forward to getting more in after kicking of LIIFT4! Speaking of LIIFT4–if you’d like to join me you can snag your spot here! After returning from our run, I did Upper Fix from 21 Day Fix for my first time and was surprised at how TOUGH that workout was!
Wednesday, 7/4/18:
Happy 4th of July!🇺🇸 We didn’t have any grand plans over here. We actually watched fireworks in bed on the Disney Parks Live feed.😂 We did get a lot of work done around the house though–yard work, laundry, cooking, and vacation prep! I also got in a total body lift and a low impact HIIT workout.
Thursday, 7/5/18:
We left for vacation Thursday morning, so I got up early to get my workout out of the way. I had planned to do a total body workout, but since I hit that the previous day I did a core workout with Shaun T. and some stretching. The stretching felt oh-so good, especially since we were about to ride in the car for five hours.

Friday, 7/6/18:
Friday morning I woke up early and found myself a spot on the deck to get a quick workout in. I chose Cardio Core Remix from 21DF and between the humidity, morning sun, and the workout, I was SWEATING by the end of those 30 minutes!
Saturday, 7/7/18:
I got in one more vacation workout on the deck before most of the house woke up. It was another equipment free workout from Beachbody on Demand. I tried out a Core de Force workout that focused on power and plyometrics. It was a great workout and I’m always surprised at how many calories I can torch with ZERO equipment!
