I feel like I always say this, but… Holy moly can you believe it’s the last Friday of the month?! Personally, I can’t. Especially since this means we’re just about EXACTLY two months away from Baby M’s EDD.🤱🏻
We are so stinking excited for her to join us. My husband is my best friend and we could both be 100 percent happy forever if it were just the two of us, but there’s something amazing about starting a family that makes me look forward to our future even more.❤️
Anyway… I digress. March was a fun, but fast, month and there are a number of things that made it into my “favorites” category. What were yours? Tell me all about it!
March 2019 Favorites
Wifi Plugs // My husband has been on a gadget kick lately and it all started with these plugs! Yes, it’s convenient being able to turn lights on or off from another and not have to get up… But what I love about them is that he has them on a schedule. They come on a few minutes before I get up, so I’m not walking through the house in the dark and they go off a few minutes after I leave, so I’m not running around crazy trying to get lights when I’m heading out in the morning! Friends, get you some — they just might change your life.😜
Arlo Home Security // Keeping up with hubby’s gadget kick, we decided to purchase some home security cameras. We live in a safe neighborhood (a fact that has been reconfirmed since installing these!), but it’s nice to have a little extra peace of mind — especially with baby on the way. I also think it’s fun to watch the “wildlife” in our neighborhood and count the kitties that like to hang out around the house. They’re everywhere!
Homemade Pizza // Pizza! Baby loves pizza and mama loves pizza. In fact, it’s my pre-long run meal of choice when I’m training for a race. We have been talking for years about making pizza at home and we finally started. About once a week, we will throw together a pizza for a quick meal at home. There are so many combos out there, from the classics to the artisan. Well, our versions at least. Homemade pizzas are a great way to use up some leftover proteins or veggies that are on their way out. Think taco pizza, shredded beef pizza, spinach as a topping — the possibilities are endless! We have been using this crust from Target.

New Netflix Favorites // We’ve been on a Netflix kick lately. After watching the entire Mad Men series, we finished The Umbrella Academy in about two weeks and The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann in a week. We need something new to watch now! What are your current Netflix favorites?
Navage // Kind of a weird thing to put on a favorites list, but we recently bought a nasal irrigator.🤣 If you’ve ever visited West Texas in the springtime you probably understand why this is so handy. The SECOND it starts to warm up the wind and dirt starts blowing and everyone’s allergies go crazy. This thing totally helps relieve sinus discomfort without medication. I’m not against nasal spray, but I don’t like using it every single day. This really helps!
Work Baby Shower // Yesterday my amazing coworkers threw me the most fun baby shower! They really spoiled me and Baby M and I was so moved by their generosity. I truly have the very best team. I’m so thankful for them!

Cafe Bustelo // Recently, we switched up our coffee brand to Cafe Bustelo. We picked it up on a whim one day and loved it! It’s espresso ground, so much finer than regular coffee, and it tastes great. It’s also totally inexpensive, which I love.

I keep hearing about wifi plugs and may need to add them to my next Amazon order. I might also need to order the nasal irrigator as the pollen here in NC has already begun.
If you ever want to make your own pizza crust, I love the one on 100 days of Real Food’s blog. It’s simple and I made it for my bible study last month for a make your own pizza night.
Also, what a sweet shower! Jess at Just Jess

Those two months will FLY by, especially if you’re still working! Our baby was born in July, and it wasn’t until school was out that time started to drag 🙂

Such fun favorites! Pizza is always a winner in our house, too, and now you have me craving some taco pizza. 😉 How sweet of your co-workers to throw you a shower! Looks like so much fun.
