Today, I’m sharing the list of what’s happening currently in April 2019!

Hello, April! While I’m excited you’re here, I know you’re sure to be a busy month. Our anniversary is in April, as well the birthdays of many people in our family — plus Easter and baby prep this year. I feel like I blinked and March was gone, and it looks like April will be much the same.
Because life is moving so fast, I’m going to slow it down just a little bit today and share what’s currently going on over here. Please, hang out, and then tell me what’s going on in your life lately!
EXPERIENCING // Insomnia! I’ve had random bouts of insomnia here and there throughout life, especially when my health wasn’t a priority. Lately, it’s been hitting me hard! I have no problem falling asleep at night, but if anything wakes me up I have a lot of trouble going back to sleep. I’ll lay awake for an hour, two hours, maybe longer, and then suddenly my alarm goes off and it’s time to get up. Most mornings I drink a cup of Irish breakfast tea, but those no-rest-for-the-pregnant mornings call for good ole coffee.
APPRECIATING // Baby showers! Oh my goodness, my coworkers completely spoiled me last week with Baby M’s first shower. They went above and beyond with their generosity and I was so very moved. Balloons, petit fours, and all the diapers!
On top of that, my aunt and a couple of friends have organized another shower for us on Saturday. It will be so nice to hug the necks of the people showing our sweet baby so much love!
WISHLISTING // A new Fitbit. I’ve been a Fitbit user for around four years now, and I was DEFINITELY one of those people who started moving more after seeing all my data on the screen. Well, since pregnancy, I very rarely get my 10,000 steps (terrible, I know). I’ve been consistent with getting my workouts in, but I know that’s not always enough, especially since I’m not running right now.
All that to say, I want a new tracker — particularly a Fitbit Versa — to motivate me to move again! Of course, I’d also gladly take an Apple Watch. Do you use a fitness tracker? If so, what kind? If you’ve switched from Fitbit to Apple Watch, tell me the pros and cons!
POSTING // My March favorites on the blog! One of those favorites is homemade pizza. In an effort to save a little money on our weekly pizza night, we’ve started making our own at home. My husband is quickly becoming a pro.
Some of my other favorites a nasal irrigator (yes lol🤣), wifi plugs, and our new coffee! (See above mentioning on insomnia to understand the necessity of this.)
CONSIDERING // What kind of emergency sub plans to leave in May. Specifics of this might make my April Intentions post at the end of the week, but I know this is something I need to start thinking seriously about. I so don’t want to think about school after baby gets here, so I need to prepare in advance!
What are your currentlys for April 2019?

We love homemade pizza Friday nights! We go back and forth, though, between homemade and delivery. You look beautiful and I hope you get some rest this month!
