This pants optional interval workout is perfect for those Netflix binge days. It’s just one of the benefits of being a homebody!
I am a homebody and an introvert. I always have been and I think people worried about me when I was single in college. “You’ll never meet someone if you stay home all the time!” Lucky for me, my husband loves staying home as much as I do! Truly, we are two peas in a pod. We are both early to bed, early to rise, and we both enjoy Netflix binging in a t-shirt and shorts (or even just underwear like these for him!) on the weekends instead of crowded pool parties or smoky bars.
That’s not to say we don’t go out every now and then. We do! We just usually elect for the afternoon matinee and an early dinner so that we can be home in time to watch Ray Donovan. Sometimes, though, we get sucked into whatever our latest obsession is and suddenly it’s 2 p.m. on Saturday and I haven’t gotten off the couch all day. Most recently it’s been with Twin Peaks and Atypical, but we did it with Stranger Things, 13 Reasons Why, and The X-Files.
Not healthy.

In those moments, we take a break and do our own thing for a while before coming back to fall down the rabbit hole once more. This is where our interests diverge. My husband will usually elect to work on some of his knives or clean his firearms, while I try to get in a super quick workout. What we still have in common though is that neither of us gets dressed. At some point, it’s just understood that it’s a “pants optional” day and we go about our business.
You may be asking, “You work out in your pajamas?” Yes, sometimes I do. I don’t have a gym membership, so I work out at home 99 percent of the time, so I can wear whatever I please. And sometimes, that may or may not include real pants. No shoes, no pants, no problems!
On those days when I know I need to move, but I just can’t bring myself to change into workout gear, I need a work out that is going to be quick, effective, and require as little equipment as possible. Today, I’m sharing a workout that is perfect for those “pants optional” days!

I am pretty sure my kids would be traumatized, but it sounds tempting. Maybe when they go to college! Ha!

Haha! Ok, in that event pants might be a better option!
