Travel light when it comes to beauty by packing multipurpose products. Throw these travel friendly makeup and skincare products before your next trip!
You may know that my husband and I just returned from a trip to Walt Disney World because I ran the RunDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon. Race and trip reports coming soon, though today I’m not here to talk about running. Today, I want to talk about travel friendly makeup and skincare! Packing light while making sure you have everything you need is a fine art, so today I’m sharing some of my go-to products!
When it comes to packing, I try to pack as little as possible. In years past, I was definitely one of those girls who brought two bags and a carry-on just for shoes, but as I’ve aged I’ve tried to become much less high maintenance. 🙂 I read a tip a few years ago that has stuck with me ever since. When you begin to run low on your everyday items and it’s time to repurchase, throw them in your travel bag so they’re ready to go when you are. This does a couple of things: 1) It ensures you’re using products you’re used to when you travel. 2) It saves time when you’re packing because your stuff is already ready to go!

Travel Friendly Makeup
Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector: Whether I’m traveling or not, I like to stick to a low maintenance makeup routine, so I use a BB cream regularly. I recently picked up the UD version. This one is small enough to throw into your bag and it’s also got sunscreen in it, which is a bonus!
Tarte Cosmetics Dream Big Eyeshadow Palette: I picked up this Tarte eyeshadow palette on a recent Ulta trip. I have loved playing with the shades in the palette to create different looks. With the combination of matte and shimmer shades, this palette is perfect for creating different looks on the go. It’s also small and compact, so it travels extremely well. I packed this for our trip to Disney and was able to go from day to night in only moments.

Maybelline Volum’ Express The Colossal Mascara: Mascara is something I’m always testing and changing. For our trip, I carried this Maybelline mascara that I snagged at Target. It’s layerable and the brush helps you hit every lash in a short amount of time.
Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen: Another Target find, this eye pen is a favorite. It’s affordable and the staying power is amazing. The last think I want to worry about when I’m traveling is whether my eye makeup is melting off my face. The pencil itself lasts forever too!
Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint: I came across this matte lip paint in Ulta a few weeks ago. I was immediately hooked thanks to how quickly it dried and the fact that it stayed on until late into the afternoon. I’m not one to reapply lip color throughout the day–especially on vacation–so a coat or two of this stuff at the beginning of the day and I’m done!
Dandelion Brightening Finishing Powder: Instead of finishing powder, I use this as blush. It’s a sweet light pink and even the trial size lasts forever.
Bare Minerals BareSkin Serum Concealer: This is my favorite concealer. It goes on smooth and lasts all day. I use it all over, so it’s the only concealer I need when I travel.

I love finding travel sized makeup. With the size restrictions I always have to find smaller sizes so thanks for sharing!
