Today, I’m headed back to school for the first time in nine days. I’m excited to be back, but with another break only three weeks away, I’ve got all things *CHRISTMAS* on the brain! That brings me to today’s post–a holiday gift guide for teachers. If you’re wondering what to give your kiddos’ teachers, or have a teacher in your family to buy for, this quick list will have all your bases covered.
2017 Holiday Gift Guide for Teachers
As a teacher, I consider myself an authority on what kinds of things teachers want and use, 😉 so I asked myself, “What would I love to have this year?” Truthfully, that’s how I approach most gift giving instances. I always try to put myself in the person’s shoes and ask, “If I were so-and-so would I love this? Would I use this?” and if the answer is yes, I know it’s a win. For this holiday gift guide for teachers, I included things I would love to have (or already have) with so many of my other favorite teachers in mind.

ONE // Erin Condren Teacher Lesson Planner
I’m currently in my second year of using an Erin Condren Teacher Lesson Planner (I’m also a repeat Life Planner user!). I eyed the EC planner throughout my first two years of teaching and wish I’d used it from the get-go! This planner will help keep your favorite teacher organized in style. Don’t fret about buying a lesson planner in the middle of the school year, as EC offers the option for the calendar to start in any month. Should you choose to begin the calendar in July or August of 2018, your favorite teacher will appreciate being able to get a jump on next year and have one more thing checked off the list. TWO // Papermate Flair Pens
Just like the ECTLP I’ve shared my love for Papermate Flair Pens before. I use these pens exclusively in my lesson planner, as well as my life planner and I’ve repurchased many times. Teachers love Papermate Flair Pens because with all the available colors, the organizational possibilities are endless!
THREE // Novelty Wine Glass
Yes! Teachers enjoy a glass of wine every now and then! One of my teacher friends told me that a few years ago she received a bottle of wine from a family with a label that said, “My child is the reason you drink” with a photo of the child on it. I CRACKED up at that! I love a good sense of humor, but this cute novelty “Because Teachers Can’t Live on Apples Alone” wine glass from Amazon is just as cool. BONUS: It’s stemless — I’m a sucker for stemless wine glasses!
FOUR // Novelty Coffee Mug
If your favorite teacher prefers a warm beverage over a glass of wine, coffee mugs are always a good option. I truly believe you can never have enough coffee mugs and I think most teachers out there agree. This “Best Teacher Ever” mug is both cute and flattering!

FIVE // AdvoCare Spark
When I started teaching, I was surprised by the number of people I work with who loved Spark! I’m not sure why it surprised me since I used it myself. I always have some stashed in my desk and I’m happy to share it with my building buddies should they ask. BONUS: Spark (especially Cherry) is yummy served over ice in a wine glass, or hot in a coffee mug! For any other AdvoCare needs you may have, click here!
SIX // 365 Days of Wonder by RJ Palacio
By now, you know my love for Wonder. The “Choose Kind” movement doesn’t have to stop with the book or the movie. 365 Days of Wonder by RJ Palacio is an easy way to spread a little bit of kindness each day of the year. Filled with inspirational quotes, this book is great for teachers, parents, and students, when just a little extra dose of kindness is needed!

SEVEN // StitchFix
Give the gift of style! Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to shop for yourself (or even someone else). StitchFix will curate a box full on-trend clothes for your favorite teacher, yourself, or anyone you have in mind. I’ve received StitchFix for a couple of years now and it’s always a special treat!
EIGHT // Target or Visa Gift Card
Teachers love Target! Many people think gift cards are impersonal, but when gifted for a place that one shops regularly, they’re likely appreciated as much as a traditional gift.
NINE // Bath & Body Works Candle {not an affiliate link}
I love when my classroom or my house smells warm, cozy, and welcoming! The Bath & Body Works candles are the best and there are so many scents you’re sure to find one your favorite teacher will love!
