Are we really at the end of a week and the beginning of the next? This year is flying by! I have three and a half days with students left plus one and a half work days before it’s officially summer break. I can’t wait! But in the meantime, I’m doing my regular Sunday thing and looking back on the week that’s past. How did you get active this week? Read on and tell me in the comments!
Sunday, 05/13/18:
AAA day! I worked upper body, abs, and a little bit of booty before doing my regular meal prep and other things to get ready for the week ahead.
Monday, 05/14/18:
I decided to sleep in Monday morning instead of getting up at my typical 4:15. I really loved the extra sleep, even though it was only about 45 minutes. It allowed me to get a little bit of work done before starting my day. After coming up and helping my husband frantically pack for a last minute business trip, I got in a lower body workout.
Tuesday, 05/15/18:
Due to the aforementioned business trip, my husband had to be at the airport by 6 a.m. I got up early to get my workout in — thankfully it was only about 40 minutes long — before dropping him off for his flight.

Wednesday, 05/16/18:
Wednesday, I slept in again, but I got in a great total body workout in the afternoon that had a serious emphasis on core! This day, I also posted a much requested resistance band workout! I’ve been talking for weeks about how I use those bands and you all wanted to hear the details! Well, here they are!
Thursday, 05/17/18:
Thursday was leg day and I squeezed it in after school. Right after that I had to go BACK to school and play teacher at the talent show. I loved watching all my kiddos showcase their talents outside the classroom! As teachers we even put together a little finale comedy act of our own and it was a blast.
Friday, 05/18/18:
It was not intended to be a rest day, but that’s what Friday turned into. I was tired, y’all!

Here’s something that made me feel old (or maybe just older) on this day… On this exact Friday night 11 years ago, I graduated high school. First of all, 11 years is a long time, but to know we’ve made it a full calendar cycle from Friday back to Friday just blows my mind.
Saturday, 05/19/18:
AAA again! I mentioned that I was tired on Friday… I was even more tired on Saturday. I didn’t get moving for my workout until after 11:00. It was a good workout and I got sweaty and burned the calories… But I still never woke up and I was groggy ALL day Saturday. Afterwards I didn’t do jack diddly. Unless you count trying to figure out the GDPR madness for my blog.
Question: Are you as confused and/or worried about all this GDPR stuff as I am?

Just wait till you realize you’ve graduated 20 years ago…haha

I won’t tell you how long it’s been since I graduated from HS because I sure don’t feel that old!
I sorted out the GDPR stuff last week–since I post on the Blogger platform, Google took care of most of for us.

I have not had to deal with the GDPR stuff since I publish on WordPress, and just have a basic blog. I get tired just reading what you accomplish in a week. You deserve a day (or 2) of rest!

Haha, love the mug! Made me laugh! 🙂

I can’t imagine having to go back to school for an event after a long day of teaching. The talent show sounds like a fun thing for the kids…although I think you should post a video of the teacher’s comedy skit. 😉 Blogger is supposed to take care of the GDPR madness for us, but I can’t tell that it’s doing that. BTW, I got your privacy message when I pulled up your blog! Thanks for linking!
