Happy Sunday, everyone! I hate to say this, but I feel like June is already flying by. It’s like I blinked and suddenly my second week of summer break disappeared! For that reason, I’m begging the calendar to sloooow doooown a bit. I’m also recapping the past week through my weekly activity log, so let’s get to it.
Sunday, 6/3/18:
Rest day! My husband and I went to see SOLO: A Star Wars Story and then grilled burgers. Perfect day!
Monday, 6/4/18:
Monday I had — dun dun DUN — jury duty, so no morning workout for me. Thankfully, I was let go around 10:30, so I ran a few errands before coming home for the day. I waited until early afternoon to get my workout in (#teacheronbreak perks) and decided to try out LIIFT4, which went on sale today! You can get the details on that here, or try out LIIFT4 for yourself here!
It was a total body workout — 15 minutes lifting, 15 minutes HIIT, ~5 minutes core — and it went by so fast in comparison to the hour-ish workouts I’ve been doing lately.
Tuesday, 6/5/18:
What did I do on Tuesday? That was so long ago I can’t remember…….. Oh, that’s right. It was cardio day! I did what’s become my usual animal-style cardio flow and it whipped my butt. This workout is one that really hasn’t changed much since I started this 80-day journey, but it hasn’t gotten any easier.

Wednesday, 6/6/18:
Global Running Day!!! I had every intention of heading out for an early run, but ended up sleeping in a little and having a slow breakfast. I went out around 9am for a short 1.5 miles with Pippa. The wind was blowing so hard it blew my hat off, it was already hot, and she had to sniff every 4 feet. Not exactly how I pictured my run going, but that’s ok. Afterwards, I did my leg day workout, but my head nor my heart were in it. I had one of those, “I hate this workout!” moments. I was grumpy most of the day after that.
Thursday, 6/7/18:
I was in a much better mood for Thursday’s total body day and got moving pretty early so I could get to the chiropractor. Dare I say I even enjoyed the workout?! Anyway, she popped me back into place and sent me on my way in less than 10 minutes. Until about two weeks ago I had never been to the chiropractor! Now I’m wondering how I lived without her.
Friday, 6/8/18:
My husband was home from work on Friday, so it really felt a lot more like Saturday. We slept in, ate breakfast around 9, and then he headed out for some errands. Around 10ish I did my second cardio workout for the week. This one included the bands and sliders and some added core work! It was tough, but I really enjoyed it. So many people I know don’t like cardio, but y’all, I love it!

Saturday, 6/9/18:
Saturday was my booty day. I moved pretty slowly getting started, but I got it done with plenty of time to rest for the afternoon. I marked day 62/80 for my program and it felt good! I had some “I’m tired of this” feelings earlier in the week, but I don’t want to be quitter with less than 20 days left!
Question: Do you make regular visits to the chiropractor?
I’m linking up with Wendy and Holly for Weekly Wrap!

Sounds like a good week for you! No, I don’t go to the chiropractor. I don’t feel the need. Glad it’s working so well for you!

I am So jealous you had jury duty. That is something I’ve always wanted to do. Was it a quick case or did you not get used?

That’s great that you didn’t have to stay for Jury Dury!
I don’t go to a chiropractor, but I do see an ART doctor 2 times a month and he often gives me an adjustment. I always feel better when I leave his office!

When I had back issues tied into a knee injury I saw a chiropractor who was great. Luckily – touch wood- haven’t needed to again

I saw Solo recently too. It was OK, but I wished it had more story and less action. But I probably say that about all action movies. You are lucky you didn’t have to stay for jury duty. I don’t like being selected for cases. I’ve thought about going to a chiropractor but never have. It’s probably worth a try. Thanks for linking!

Great week of workouts! I do see a chiropractor, usually when Im training for a long distance race. It definitely feels good to get adjusted. I like to go every once in awhile just to make sure everything is moving how it is supposed it.
