Happy Monday, everyone! Woo–what a weekend it was. I went to Houston for a wedding last week and it was the perfect “last hurrah” before heading back to school this week. I served as matron of honor in my cousin’s wedding and it was just that–an honor–but it was a crazy week! I tried my best to stay active. Monday, 7/30/18:
On Monday, I started the week strong with a chest and triceps workout
Tuesday, 7/31/18:
After back and biceps, we had a full day on Tuesday. My husband and I took my car to get serviced and had a rental for the day. We had pizza together, did a little shopping, and wrapped the day up with some ice cream. We definitely did NOT eat healthy, but it was worth it to spend some time together.

Wednesday, 8/1/18:
I had a flight to catch Wednesday morning, so I got up early for a quick HIIT before doing all the last minute prep for my trip. By 3 p.m. I was in Houston ready to celebrate the weekend with my cousin and the rest of our family!
Thursday, 8/2/18:
I tried to stick to my typical schedule, but the hotel bed was just too cozy. I made it down to the gym around 6:30 a.m. and decided on a quick total body workout. With deadlifts, dumbbell swings, weighted sit-ups, and dumbbell snatches, it was so good! It was super quick, which is exactly what I was going for.
The rest of the day was filled with pre-wedding festivities, including rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.
Friday, 8/3/18:
WEDDING DAY for my sweet cousin and her man. Rest day for me! The wedding was absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t have been more blessed to be part of their special day together.

Saturday, 8/4/18:
Rest and travel day for husband and myself.
