Oh my goodness, what a week it was! I returned to my #TeacherOnDuty status Tuesday and have been ridiculously busy ever since. Classes resume on Wednesday, so that’s just going to be the norm for the next few weeks. I tried my best to stay active, but some days the busyness got the best of me.
Sunday, 8/5/18:
Rest day. After the wild wedding week, I didn’t feel like doing anything on Sunday, so I didn’t. My husband and I hung out and just tried to enjoy one of our last days together before resuming our regular duties!
Monday, 8/6/18:
Monday, I decided to go to a class at a local gym. I needed a good butt kicking and that’s exactly what I got! It was total body and totally brutal.
Tuesday, 8/7/18:
Teacher inservice started Tuesday, and I decided to try out an afternoon workout. It took a lot longer than I hoped to motivate myself to move, but I finally did it. I did some kettlebells in the living room and called it G-O-O-D!
Wednesday 8/8/18:
I was ridiculously sore on Wednesday, so I decided on a yoga flow.
Thursday, 8/9/18:
Rest day. We had an intense day of training on campus and I just couldn’t bring myself to move afterward!
Friday, 8/10/18:
Friday was much the same. I knew I needed to workout, but after 10 minutes, my brain wasn’t in it so I just called it quits. I guess something is better than nothing though, right?
Saturday, 8/11/18:
We celebrated our nephew’s birthday Saturday, so we had to get on the road fairly early. I was able to fit in about a 20-minute workout before we had to head out.
This week was kind of a crapshoot, so I’m hoping the next one goes much better!
