It’s Monday yet again! I hope this finds you well. I’m stopping in today to take a quick look back at last week’s workouts. It was just another week, but a mostly accomplished one in the fitness department. Nutrition on the other hand… That could use some work. 😜 That will be my goal for last week! How did you stay active this week? Share it with me!
Sunday, 09/09/18:
I started the week off with a yoga flow, as I usually do. It was quick and gentle and just the stretch I needed on a Sunday morning. The rest of the day was spent running a few errands and getting ready for the week ahead.
Monday, 09/10/18:
Monday was a staff inservice day, but I got up at my usual time so I could get some extra work in before the day started. I got in a quick run after a chest and triceps workouts. I’ve been trying to stick to my September Intention of running at least twice a week. So far, so good!
Tuesday, 09/11/18:
Leg day was Tuesday and it was a brutal one! Bulgarian split squats were on the agenda and that’s one of my least favorite exercises–mostly because they’re hard. Ha! But I powered through them and I know I’m stronger for it now.

Wednesday, 09/12/18:
Wednesday was another run day and also included some back and shoulder work. I love working shoulders–it’s one of my favorites!
Thursday, 09/13/18:
Rest day.
Friday, 09/14/18:
I rounded out the work week with the same HIIT workout from the week before, as well as some arms and abs.

Saturday, 09/15/18:
Hubby and I headed home to Smalltown USA Friday evening, so I got in a country-road-run Saturday morning. Pippa was able to join me and she loved it as much as I did! When I got back I did a tiny bit of ab work, but truthfully my head wasn’t in it.
That was my week in workouts! Overall, it was a pretty fantastic one. However, after a weekend with family and a lot of food, I’m looking forward to jumping into a new week today and getting my nutrition back on track!
