Last week was a good one, albeit a little hectic. This week is going to be much of the same with three or four meetings on the agenda, my husband’s birthday on Saturday, and just the general day-to-day madness. In the last seven years, I’ve been able to make fitness a true part of my lifestyle, but there are times when it’s still not easy. In weeks such as this week and last, I’m appreciative of my early morning routine so I can get it out of the way before crazy life things happen.
Sunday, 10/7/18:
Sunday was yoga–as usual. I love yoga Sundays because they feel like the perfect way to bid adieu to the previous week and gently welcoming the new one at the same time.
Monday, 10/8/18:
Total body on the Jillian Michaels app (the same workout as last Friday) was perfect for my Monday off. Afterwards, Pippa and I went for a quick walk before doing housework and playing catch up for most of the day.
Tuesday, 10/9/18:
Tuesday was a back-of-the-body total body workout, and a tough one at that!

Wednesday, 10/10/18:
Kickboxing cardio on Studio Tone It Up was just what I needed on Wednesday.
Thursday, 10/11/18:
Rest day.
Friday, 10/12/18:
On Friday, I did a repeat of Monday’s workout. I love the programs on Jillian’s app and the way she has her body part splits set up, but after a time, the monotony gets to me.

Saturday, 10/13/18:
Saturday was a no-equipment cardio workout that got my blood pumping enough to give me an excuse to spend the rest of the day on the couch.
